Dr Helen Cheney

Dr Cheney is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently Australia's High Commissioner to Nauru.

She has also previously served overseas in Thailand and Indonesia.

Dr Cheney holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Doctor of Philosophy from La Trobe University, a Master of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate from Curtin University.
