Second Year of the Portugal-Australia Work and Holiday Agreement
Congratulations to all those who have applied for and been granted a visa to travel to Australia, in the second year of the Portugal-Australia Work and Holiday agreement. We wish you well.
The second year of the agreement draws to a close, on 30 June. The third year of the agreement commences on 1 July 2016.
If you have a Letter of Support from the Portuguese Ministry for Foreign Affairs Consular Department issued before 30 June 2016 and you have not yet applied for a Work and Holiday visa, you must do so before 30 June 2016.
If you apply for a Work and Holiday visa after 30 June , you will need to request a new Letter of Support from the Portuguese Ministry for Foreign Affairs Consular Department to submit with your visa application.
Visa applications received on or after 1 July 2016, must have a Letter of Support from the Portuguese Ministry for Foreign Affairs issued on or after 1 July 2016.
