MORABI (Praia and Assomada, Santiago Island) – Purchasing furniture and teaching materials for the Sucupira community kindergarten at Cidade da Praia, as well as restructuring a large room at MORABI headquarters in Assomada to provide a better training environment for young woman and potential community leaders.
Cape Verdean League against Cancer (S. Vicente Island ) - Raising health awareness to breast cancer and other chronic diseases, including breast cancer screening, for the population in Santo Andre village, Santo Antão Island.
Association Amigos do Calhau (Calhau, S. Vicente Island) - Raising awareness to the importance of oral hygiene to 200 school children up to 13 years of age, through a campaign with health technicians, distributing posters and leaflets, as well as treatment to 200 students in need of it.
Association Mon na Roda (Praia, Santiago Island) – Project on Inclusive Dance to promote a more positive attitude towards people with disabilities through the acquisition of two wheelchairs.
Cape Verdean Association of the Deaf (Santiago, São Vicente, Santo Antão and Fogo Islands) - Inclusion of the Deaf people into the Cape Verdean society through the acquisition of IT and other educational material to facilitate the teaching of sign language to 45 children currently outside the education system.
