Visit to Cabo Verde
Ambassador Peter Rayner visited Cabo Verde 29 November - 2 December 2017, and undertook visits to a number of development projects on the islands of Santiago and São Vicente, financed by the Australian Direct Aid Program (DAP). Projects included a centre for children with disabilities/special needs, a pottery studio and a kindergarten among others.
The Ambassador also met with representatives from the government of Cabo Verde, including the Minister of the Economy and Employment, José da Silva Gonçalves and the Minister for Justice, Janine Lélis.
