CONSULAR NOTARIAL SERVICES FEES
Notarial Service Fees - April 2017
Under the Consular Fees Act of 1995, fees are charged for these services.
Please note that due to the exchange rate variations, the consular fees can vary from month to month.
If you request the return of your documents via registered mail, there is an additional charge of Eur 3 for postage.
If requesting the consular service, in person, payment can be made by:
- EFTPOS/multibanco (Portuguese debit cards only)
- credit cards
CASH AND PERSONAL CHEQUES ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.
If requesting the consular service by mail, payment can be made by one of the following methods:
- credit card payment - please note that due to exchange rate variations, the processing fee can vary from month to month. If you forward your application by mail with a credit card authorisation, you will be charged the fee applicable on the date your application is accepted.

- bank transfer - the Embassy's bank account details are as follows:

It is important that the bank transfer include the your name and the specific service being requested.
Please include with your mailed documentation the confirmation of the bank transfer or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have booked an appointment with the Embassy for a notarial service, please include the booking number included in your confirmation email.
