CONSULAR NOTARIAL SERVICES FEES
List of Notarial Service Fees - April 2018
Under the Consular Fees Act of 1995, fees are charged for these services.
Please note due to the exchange rate variations, consular fees can vary from month to month.
If you request the return of your documents via registered mail, there is an additional charge of Eur 3 for postage.
If requesting the consular service, in person, payment can be made by:
- EFTPOS/multibanco (Portuguese debit cards only)
- credit cards
CASH AND PERSONAL CHEQUES ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.
If requesting the consular service by mail, payment can be made by one of the following methods:
- credit card payment - please note that due to exchange rate variations, the processing fee can vary from month to month. If you forward your application by mail with a credit card authorisation, you will be charged the fee applicable on the date your application is accepted.
Please complete the Credit Card Authorisation Form.
- bank transfer - only under the Embassy's instructions
If you have booked an appointment with the Embassy for a notarial service, please include the booking number contained in the confirmation email.
